This project is a response to the desire for privacy and silence. Here, the architecture does not argue with its surroundings, allowing the individual to become part of nature.
The house is located in the rocky and hilly part of Scotland, where strong winds, frequent rain and dense fogs not only form the general concept of the building, but also become the foundation for its reliable construction.
The facade of the house is made of European larch, which over time is covered with a noble patina. This is the choice in favour of durability, naturalness and connection with the surrounding environment. Overhanging forms on cantilevers create sheltered terraces, while large windows blur the boundaries between interior and landscape.
